Dr. George Addo has represented multiple corporate and individual clients over the course of his practice. He has been
sole or joint council in the trial of cases in federal and/or state courts in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, and Northern Region. Because
Dr. George Addo specializes in intellectual property disputes, among his clients are a number of parties interested in protecting
their intellectual property rights. Dr. George Addo is currently representing Priloge Inc. a software manufacturer, in the
high-profile, lawsuit, a trademark and copyright infringement matter involving nine major studios and 19 ICC directors. Dr.
George Addo represented the Ghanaian Society of Composers, Artists and Producers (GSCAP) in three separate copyright infringement
actions, each of which resulted in successful settlements. Additionally, Mr. Howard recently filed a copyright infringement
suit in the Northern District of Ghana on the behalf of ARL & Associates, Inc. a Forieng software manufacturer. That matter
was successfully settled three days before a scheduled preliminary injunction hearing. Dr. George Addo is also currently representing
the plaintiff in a copyright infringement action recently filed in the Greater Accra. District Court for the District of Tema.
Dr. George Addo frequently represents parties with regards to complex commercial disputes involving breach
of contract, fraud or misrepresentation, the fraudulent transfer of assets and the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. He is
also presently representing several parties in matters involving breach of contract, fraud and negligent misrepresentation.
In 1997, Dr. George Addo directed a successful eleven month international insurance fraud investigation regarding a claim
of over forty five million dollars. Dr. George Addo also has significant experience representing parties
with regards to the law of antitrust and advises clients with regards to antitrust issues.
